Physical Science (Waldorf)

Week 2 covers experiencing properties by touch and sound. 5 worksheets progressing from sensory exploration of metal and wood to hands-on density observations in the kitchen, density calculations, property comparisons, and a culminating investigation connecting direct experience to scientific measurement. By the end of the week, your child should be able to after completing this week, your child will identify and describe physical properties of matter through direct sensory experience, understand density as a relationship between mass and volume, and apply the density formula to real-world materials.
