Week 2 covers recognition. 5 worksheets progressing from recognizing sentence types through clause analysis, coordinating and subordinating conjunctions, compound-complex structures, and a cumulative assessment. By the end of the week, your child should be able to after completing this week, your child will classify sentences as simple, compound, complex, or compound-complex, identify independent and dependent clauses within each type, and construct original sentences following each structural pattern.
